One simple way to clean up your PC is to use Windows' built-in disk cleaning service. The Disk Cleanup utility searches your hard drives and then shows you temporary files, Internet cache files, and unnecessary program files that you can safely delete. Once you have these files displayed in front of you, you can choose which ones you want to delete. Run this utility and you'll very likely free up some space on your hard drive.
To run Disk Cleanup:
• Click Start
• Point to All Programs
• Point to Accessories
• Point to System Tools
• Click Disk Cleanup
You'll then be presented with the drive to clean, and you're on your way to a cleaner drive. Do it this month and you'll have more time to clean out your garage this spring.
