PerfectDisk 2008 has an automatic update feature. This update feature can be set to automatically check for and/or install any updates that it finds. To manually update PerfectDisk 2008 to the latest build:

• Launch PerfectDisk 2008
• Click on Product Resources
• Click on Check For Updates

If you are behind a firewall and/or have security software installed that prevents PerfectDisk AutoUpdate from communicating with the Raxco Update Server, please download one of the following to update PerfectDisk 2008 to the latest build:

PerfectDisk Client:

• x86 English Language
• x64 English Language

• Click on Options
• Under Update click Check Now

• Select Check For Updates

Please note that you can NOT AutoUpdate to x64 support. If you wish to install PerfectDisk on an x-64 based Windows system, you will need to perform a full install of PerfectDisk Build 46 or newer in order to install x64 support. Customers that are covered by Software Assurance can download a full installation of PerfectDisk from the Raxco Software Redownload Site.

The latest build of FirstDefense-ISR is 205. Build 205 requires that you have FirstDefense Build 164 or higher installed on your computer.

Please contact Technical Support if you are running an earlier release and need to update to Build 164 first.
